Skyler Sulby is a visual storyteller who incorporates her youthful perspective into her work. Her most recent short film Blue is  currently in the festival circuit and has screened at LA Indie Film Festival, LA International Film Festival and Venice Film Festival, where she received the Audience Award and Best Youth Actress. The film centers around a young girl with a regulatory disorder struggling to make her first friend.

During her college career studying Film Production at University of Southern California, she has amassed ample experience directing, producing, and animating. She strives to tell stories that evoke a sense of unadulterated childlike wonder. She believes we can all use a reminder of the importance of releasing emotion through the lens of our childhood selves.

Skyler is currently working on a children’s book featuring her character Bug Kid. The book’s whimsical and adventurous plot tackles themes of identity, escapism and loneliness.
